Advanced Training in Maharishi Ayurveda for Health Professionals

Start date: June 27th, 2013
Location: Arts Building, Room 110

Maharishi University of Management is pleased to announce Level 3 Advanced Training in Maharishi Ayurveda for Health Professionals, offered both live and online via distance education. The program will be presented through Maharishi College of Perfect Health in conjunction with Maharishi Ayurveda Association of America.

Building on the knowledge offered in the previous courses, the Level 3 program introduces a more advanced level of theoretical and practical knowledge designed to enhance clinical skills and provide a solid foundation for practice. The Level 3 program includes an intensive survey of Kaya Chikitsa--the Ayurvedic science of general internal medicine--with focus on prevention and treatment of a wide range of clinical conditions encountered in medical practice.

This training course has been developed by a distinguished faculty of Vedic scholars and modern medical experts at Maharishi European Research University, Netherlands and Maharishi College of Perfect Health-USA, including members of the Council of Vaidyas of Maharishi Ayurveda.

Health professionals eligible to take Level 3 Advanced Training include medical doctors, osteopathic doctors, naturopathic doctors, chiropractic doctors, doctors of oriental medicine, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants and other health care practitioners who have completed either:

  • The Level 2 training program offered by MUM-MCPH in 2012, or
  • The Level 1 training program offered by Maharishi Ayurveda Association of America and co-sponsored by Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine and University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine, offered 2010 to 2012.

The University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission • www.ncahlc.org
